How to Change the Starter Motor on Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

For this maintenance, it is recommended to work with the vehicle raised. However, before doing so, disconnect the battery (which is obviously connected to the starter motor). Disconnect the power cables from the starter motor (which will also be connected to the gearbox). At this point, simply unscrew the mounting bolts, and it will come out easily from its position. Be careful as one of the bolts is connected to the earth cable, so disconnect it without damaging it. To install the new starter motor, simply reverse the procedure: insert the motor, connect it, and screw in the bolts, finally reconnect the battery.
