Remote Window Closing Programming

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

To programme the opening and closing of the windows remotely with the remote control, you need to have the official Opel diagnostic tool (known as OP-COM) and the CAR PASS (the credit card-shaped card with a unique code associated with the vehicle).
Once the diagnostic tool is connected, turn on the ignition, enter the diagnostic module, and select the vehicle by choosing the year of manufacture and engine type. Then enter the Body section and the REC module, going to programming: at this point, you will need to insert the CAR PASS to access the programming of a new configuration; scroll through the menu until you find the window closing function and check the PRESENT box. Exit the diagnostic tool and perform a functionality check: simply hold down the remote control's open button longer to lower the windows and the close button to raise them.
