Replacing the Diesel Filter on Opel Meriva

Model: Vauxhall Meriva Meriva A, MK 1 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Diesel fuel filter

Lift the bonnet and secure it. Locate the diesel filter housing, which is on your centre-left towards the windscreen when facing the vehicle. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the filter cover. Lift the filter from its housing and disconnect the two inlet and outlet pipes, as shown in the video (first place rags under the filter area). Allow any remaining liquid to drain from the filter and open the compartment by unscrewing the top screw with a T30 Torx key. Replace the filter and reverse the steps for reassembly.
