Using a thin but sturdy tool and leveraging it, start by prising off the plastic cover in front of the handbrake. This will allow you to detach the handbrake gaiter from its housing and pull it upwards. After pulling it upwards, you will have successfully removed the gaiter. To fit the new gaiter, simply follow these instructions in reverse. Once the new gaiter is fitted and the cover between the handbrake and gear lever is reattached, you will have successfully completed the replacement.
