Replacing the Rocker Cover Gasket on Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra J - Years 2009-2016
Part: EGR valve

After removing the cover, heat all areas securing the breather valve with a hairdryer. To remove it, once heated, simply lever it out from underneath with one or two flat screwdrivers, lifting it and extracting it from its seat. If you find it difficult, heat the gasket again. Also, heat the area immediately around the valve to remove its cover, as shown in the video. Take the new gasket you purchased and fit it in place exactly as the one you removed, then slot the valve back in and close the cover by applying pressure.
