Replacement of the Rocker Cover Gasket

Before applying the new rocker cover gasket, thoroughly clean the gasket seat on both the cylinder head side and the cover side to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adhesion and sealing of the gasket. In this case, the gasket consists of multiple elements: start by inserting the O-rings into their respective seats under the cover; then apply the two gaskets into their respective grooves and the gasket sealant on the edges of the camshaft mounting brackets. Finally, position the cover and tighten the respective fixing pins.
