The gasket of the tappet cover is always included in the emery series gasket kit: after having carefully cleaned the gasket seats, insert the gasket in its seat under the cover, apply gasket mastic along the edges of the cylinder head and place the cover tightening the fixing pins following a crisscross pattern and using a torque wrench; pay attention so that the gasket does not come out of its seat and clean up the excess sealant once it has completely dried (generally takes a few minutes).

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
