Rocker Cover Gasket Replacement

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

The gasket kit for the series Smeriglio always includes the rocker cover gasket: after thoroughly cleaning the gasket seats, insert the gasket into the corresponding seat under the cover, apply gasket sealant along the edges of the cylinder head, and place the cover, tightening the fastening pins in a cross pattern using a torque wrench; ensure that the gasket does not protrude from its seat and clean any excess sealant once it has completely dried (which generally takes a few minutes).
