Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Vauxhall Meriva Meriva A, MK 1 - Years 2003-2010

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel. Before undoing the caliper mounting bolts, lever between the pads to slightly retract the piston, facilitating the removal of the caliper. Then, remove the protective caps from the caliper mounting bolts and unscrew them; detach the caliper from its seat and remove the old pads by releasing the outer retaining spring. Clean the disc and caliper to remove dust residues, apply the new pads after applying copper grease, fully retract the piston using a C-clamp, and refit the caliper, reapplying the outer retaining spring.
