To replace the remote battery of the Opel Astra, lever with an object at the bottom of the remote, which is the side opposite to where the key is located. This will allow you to remove the plastic cover on the back of the remote, giving access to the underlying battery. The battery can now be extracted from its housing by levering with an object and replaced with a new spare part. After replacing the battery, reinsert the cover on the back of the device.
