How to replace the gear gaiter on the Opel Vectra?

To replace the gear gaiter on the Opel Vectra, grasp the gear knob so that it can be pulled upwards. Once the knob has been removed, lever off the trim at the base of the gaiter surrounding it. This will allow you to remove the gaiter and insert the new replacement part, ensuring it is properly fitted; then, position the gear gaiter and the corresponding trim, and finally secure the new gear knob to the end of the lever.
