The intake manifold gasket is made up of two elements: one that must be installed below the flange that supports the swirl butterflies and one that must be placed above, between the same flange and the intake duct. Before proceeding with the installation of the new gaskets, however, it is recommended to carefully clean the respective seats in order to eliminate any residual dirt and encrustation that could compromise the adhesion and therefore the seal, to the detriment of the performance of the engine and of the consumption; if the surfaces are intact, it is also not necessary to apply sealant mastic.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. Once the screws that secure this panel have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components located in its rear part, including the auxiliary battery. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
