Intake Manifold Gasket Replacement

Before applying the new gasket to the intake manifold, it is very important to clean the surface of any dirt and/or deposits that could compromise the seal of the gasket itself, thereby affecting engine performance. Once cleaning is complete, both on the cylinder head side and the manifold side, position the new gasket in its seat (there is no need to use gasket sealant), then insert the manifold and tighten the retaining bolts; install the coolant connector (also applying a new gasket) and, once the cylinder head is installed on the block, complete the assembly of the intake ducts by inserting a new gasket in the mating flange.
