Replacement of Intake Manifold Gasket

Before applying the new gasket to the intake manifold, it is advisable to carry out a thorough cleaning of the respective seat, both on the cylinder head side and the manifold side, to remove any dirt and deposits that could compromise the adherence and thus the sealing of the gasket, resulting in a loss of engine performance; once cleaning is complete, place the gasket and then the manifold, and then tighten the fixing pins with the torque wrench. In this case, it is not necessary to apply gasket sealant.
