How to Replace the Ignition Barrel of the Opel Astra?

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra H - Years 2004-2010

To replace the ignition barrel of the Opel Astra, turn the steering wheel first to the right and then to the left to loosen the screws securing the plastics around the steering column. Once these plastics are removed, access the underlying components by disconnecting their connectors and releasing the barrel using the appropriate pins. When the old barrel is removed, position the new one, securing it properly and covering the entire column with the relevant plastic covers.
