Instructions for Removing the External Door Handle

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

To remove the external door handle, you first need to remove the door panel: there are some fixing screws to remove and clips along the edges. Once the panel is off, gently peel away the internal protective film, taking care not to tear it. At this point, you can access the fixing nuts for the handle and unscrew them, then disconnect the rigid cable that connects it to the lock. Once the cable is disconnected and the nuts removed, you can extract the handle complete with lock (the so-called fruit).

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
