In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the tailgate lock of the Opel Astra H, an extremely simple and quick operation. Start by opening the tailgate, then unclip the two cords from the panel and undo the two plastic joints. Next, using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the rivet to the left of the lock, undo the screw located inside the handle recess, and remove the frame. At this point, grasp the entire panel, pull it downwards, and unclip it from the tailgate, thus gaining access to the connector and bolts of the lock.
