Sometimes you may need to deactivate the passenger side airbag, which is common if you have small children and need to place a child seat. This tutorial will explain how to deactivate the airbag of the Opel Vivaro B if necessary.

Fortunately, the Opel Vivaro does not require any special tools for airbag deactivation, nor the use of a key. Simply open the passenger side door and press the button located at the centre of the dashboard end, turning it to the "OFF" position. To reactivate it, just press and turn to "ON".
