How to replace the timing chain on the Opel Meriva?

To replace the timing chain on the Opel Meriva, open the bonnet to remove the plastic cover of the engine block and the air filter box: removing these two elements will allow you to loosen the screws that secure the left side cover of the engine block, which can then be completely removed. After removal, you can loosen the screws that secure the chain tensioner, thereby reducing the tension of the chain itself and freeing it from its sprockets; at this point, you can insert the new chain, covering everything with the relevant panel.
