Guide to Replacing the Fuel Filter

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006
Part: Diesel fuel filter

To locate the filter, simply watch the video that shows it in the front area near the driver. Using a T-30 key, remove the fixing screw of the cover and take it off along with the gasket, which should be replaced for safety with a new one.
Now remove the filter cartridge and replace it with a new one complete with its own gasket.
Then reassemble the filter cover and securely screw in the fixing screw without overtightening.

This procedure is applied to an Opel Astra G but is similar for other vehicles.
