To replace the remote battery of the Opel Astra G, use a thin object to pry open the groove between the key and the buttons of the remote: this will allow you to detach the key from the remote. At this point, pry inside the key housing to detach the cover from the back of the remote: beneath it, you will find the battery, which should be removed from its seat and replaced with a new spare part. After replacement, reassemble all components.
