How to Replace the Oil Filter and Engine Oil in a 2018 Opel Corsa E

Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Raise the front of the car with a jack and place safety stands underneath. Position a container to collect the used oil under the oil tank; loosen the oil drain plug to the left with a T45 torx spanner. Now, remove the oil filter located between the engine and the battery; turn it counterclockwise, remove the plastic cover along with the filter capsule. Insert the new seal onto the new filter and install the new filter in place, tightening to a torque of 25 Nm with a torque wrench. Tighten the oil drain plug to a torque of 14 Nm. Refill the engine oil.
