How to Replace the Fuel Pump of the Opel Astra

Today, we will see how to remove and replace the low-pressure fuel pump (or the float) of the Opel Astra. First, open the rear doors and start removing the rear seat; then remove the plastic cover of the fuel pump, as shown in the video. At this point, disconnect the two fuel supply lines, then disconnect the electrical connector; then unscrew the pump ring to remove it from the tank. Finally, install the new original fuel pump, applying the reverse procedure!
