Disassembling the Remote Key for Battery Replacement

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006
Part: Key

Each remote contains a small battery that powers the transmitter's electronic circuit. When this battery runs out, it becomes impossible to open and close the doors remotely. Fortunately, you can access the vehicle using the mechanical key. Replacing the battery is simple; use a small tool to open the transmitter's cover, remove the battery, and replace it with a new one of the same specifications. These batteries are available at any supermarket. If the plastic casing is damaged, it can also be replaced.
