How to Reprogram the Key on an Opel Astra

To reprogram the key of an Opel Astra, close all doors and sit in the driver's seat. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position without starting the engine for about 5-10 seconds, then turn it back to OFF and remove it. Within a few seconds, insert the key to be programmed and turn it to ON for a few seconds, then turn it off. Repeat the procedure with any other keys within a few minutes. Once completed, check that each key can start the engine and test the remote controls, ensuring they are synchronised with the vehicle's immobiliser.
