Replacing the Cabin Air Filter in the Opel Astra

Model: Vauxhall Astra Astra G - Years 1998-2006

To ensure that the air circulating in the ventilation system of the Opel Astra is free from dust and dirt, a dedicated filter is provided that we must replace periodically. Position yourself in the front passenger seat and remove the six screws located on the frame of the glove compartment and pull it out. Disconnect the connector on the left side: to the left of the opened space, locate the cover of the filter box, remove the two metal clips and open it. Pull out the old filter element and replace it with a new one, close the cover and secure it with the clips, reconnect the glove compartment and refit it in its place, securing it with the six screws.
