In this video tutorial, you can see how to reset the maintenance light on your Opel Astra G. The procedure is very simple and takes less than 1 minute to complete. Insert the key without turning it; at this point, press and hold the reset button on the instrument cluster.

While holding it, start the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Wait for the display to show 0.0; first, the light will flash, then dashed lines will appear, and the reset will be complete when the mileage shows up. You can then restart the cluster to ensure the reset was successful.
