Error code 89, whether it is on an Opel vehicle or a Chevrolet vehicle, indicates a generic error and the message that may appear along with the code is "seek immediate assistance". To reset the "error 89" code on an Opel vehicle, we must first turn on the vehicle's instrument panel and then press the MENU button, located on the left lever of the steering wheel. Once inside the menu, select the kilometers and press the SET button, also located on the left lever. Once the error code reset is complete, turn off and then turn on the instrument panel to complete all the steps.
