How to replace the battery of the Opel Grandland X remote control

Replacing the battery of the remote/key of an Opel Grandland X is an operation that follows very simple steps. The first step is to insert a flat-head screwdriver into the groove near the metal part of the remote, in order to open the cover. The second step is to remove the cover and the worn-out battery to replace it with a new CW2032 battery. Once the battery is inserted, we can close the remote cover. Now all that's left is to test the operation of the remote by trying to open and close the vehicle.
