Replacing the battery in the key fob of an Opel Grandland X is a straightforward process. First, insert a flathead screwdriver into the slot near the metal part of the fob to open the cover.

The second step is to remove the cover and the worn battery, then insert a new CW2032 battery in its place. Once the battery is in, close the fob cover.

Now, test the fob by trying to lock and unlock the vehicle.
