How to Replace the Timing Belt on an Opel Z16XER Engine?

To replace the timing belt on the Opel Z16XER engine, loosen the screws securing the side protection panel of the engine block to gain access to the underlying belt. You will also need to remove the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch.

At this point, loosen the nut securing the tensioner pulley, remove it from its seat, and slide the belt out of its housing. Now, insert the new belt, securing it in place with the pulley and check that everything functions correctly.
