How do we change the battery of the remote key for an Opel Insignia? Let's see in this video how to do it in detail. Take your remote and press the button to extract the metal key. Once the metal key is out, insert it into the plastic slot and lever against it. Once the cover is open, use a small screwdriver to extract the worn battery and take a new one of the same size. Refit the cover on your remote by pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place. Now check the key's proper functioning.
