In this video, you will see how to change the rear light bulb on an Opel Astra H. Begin by opening the tailgate: here you will find a small cover at the height of the light. Open it. Disconnect the electrical connector and unscrew the two plastic screws that hold the light unit in place.

From the outside, pry it out of its housing and take the opportunity to clean it thoroughly. Now unscrew the rear cover of the light, and when it is open, replace the damaged bulb.

Refit the bulbs, reattach the light unit, screw the retaining screws back in, and close the access cover, making sure to reconnect the electrical connector first. Operation complete.
