In this video we see how to remove the external handle of the Peugeot 508: even if the handle is broken, we cannot completely remove it because it is hooked by the cable from inside the door. However, there is a way to remove it, and it is a very simple method, of course if we know where to put our hands. In the thickness of the door we find a small plug, and we remove it with a spatula, then we remove the cover of the internal handle which is held only by clips. Underneath we find two screws, which we unscrew; at the bottom of the door we remove the courtesy light fixture. Then from the side armrest we remove the window control buttons, and now we can release the clips from the inside of the trim panel, starting from the bottom. At this point we can release the cable that holds the handle from the inside.
