How to remove the door handle from the Peugeot 508

In this video we can see how to remove the door handle from a Peugeot 508: it is an operation that will be particularly useful if we decide to polish the bodywork, as many small scratches are often found right around the handle, even if the handle is of the model that opens without the key. We open the door, and in the thickness of the door, at the height of the handle, we find a small rubber plug. We remove it and underneath we find a Torx screw size 20 that we will have to unscrew, without completely removing it: when we feel it loosened, then we can start levering with a plastic spatula (so as not to damage the paint) and remove the smaller part of the handle from its housing. Once this part is removed, we also pull from the other side and completely remove it by pulling it outwards. If the handle opens without a key, there will be cables, so it is not advisable to completely extract it. To put it back in place, we will follow the reverse path.
