Replacement of the power window system on Peugeot 407

Model: Peugeot 407 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

Disassembly of the door panel: remove the cap in the center of the door pocket. Detach the cover of the inner handle. Remove the trim frame of the opening lever. Unscrew the other screws along the edges and lever to release the pressure clips. Once the panel is removed, you will have access to the window lift mechanism. Removal of the window lift motor: after disassembling the panel, locate the window lift motor. Disconnect the power cable. Unscrew the screws that secure the motor and remove it from its seat. Check if the motor is damaged and, if necessary, replace it with a new spare part. Installation of the new window lift motor: insert the new window lift motor in the same place where the old one was positioned. Secure the screws to ensure the new motor. Connect the power cable to the new motor.
