The cabin air filter on a Peugeot 508 vehicle is located inside the vehicle's cabin. Specifically, the filter is installed under the central dashboard, with the opening of the box facing towards the driver's side.

To replace the filter, we must first remove the carpet and then the cover of the box, disconnect the connector, and remove the filter. Only after cleaning the box, we insert the new filter, connect the connector, close the cover, and reassemble the carpet.

We turn on the dashboard to check that the replacement has been done correctly, otherwise a warning light will illuminate on the display.
