How do you remove the alternator in a Peugeot 207?

Ok, removing the alternator on a Peugeot 207 is not very difficult, but it requires a bit of patience. First of all, disconnect the battery, otherwise you risk unwanted sparks. Then remove the service belt by loosening the tensioner. Now you need to unscrew the bolts that secure the alternator to the engine, usually there are three. Pay attention to the electrical connectors: disconnect them gently, maybe marking where they go to reassemble them without going crazy. Once free, the alternator may be a bit stuck: move it calmly and remove it carefully. Reassembling everything is the opposite, but be sure to tighten the belt properly! If you think that all of this is too difficult to do in DIY mode, then call a specialized workshop.
