How to remove the alternator from a Peugeot 207? Open the front bonnet and remove the alternator along with all its components. Disconnect the battery terminals. Unscrew the bolts using a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the nearby cables, and unscrew all the securing bolts of the alternator. Pull the alternator out from the engine compartment. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery. Start the engine and verify the operation of the alternator.
