The alternator is an essential component for any car, not only for the Peugeot 207, because thanks to it the vehicle's power supply battery is charged. In this video tutorial, we see how it is made and how it is opened to perform maintenance interventions.

However, before reaching this stage, it must be removed from the engine compartment, where it is housed, by following this sequence: The battery is disconnected for safety reasons, the electrical cables connected to it are disconnected, the fastening bolts are unscrewed, and it is removed from its seat.

Only now can it be evaluated whether it is necessary to repair it or replace it.
