How to Change the Alternator on Peugeot 207

Removing the alternator on a Peugeot 207? Here's how to take it out from the engine compartment. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the engine cover, securing it in place. Disconnect the battery terminals. Unscrew the bolts with a socket spanner, remove all the securing bolts of the alternator, and take off the belt. Once the disassembly is complete, extract the alternator from the engine compartment. Fit the new alternator into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator and the belt. Reconnect the battery terminals.
