The alternator on the Peugeot 207 is located in the engine compartment: to remove it, you need to locate the throttle valve, which is situated low on the left side of the engine. This will need to be removed from its housing by undoing the screws that secure it to its ducts; you will also need to disconnect the connectors attached to its sensors, completely removing it. After removing the valve, you will be able to locate the alternator beneath it: by undoing the screws that secure it to the supports and disconnecting its connectors, you will be able to remove it completely.
