When the red oil light comes on in a 2022 Peugeot 3008, it indicates low oil pressure and therefore the engine must be stopped as soon as possible; a steady red light may indicate a lack of pressure related to insufficient oil level, an oil transmission problem, or sensor failures reading oil levels. A lit red light may indicate that the oil pressure circulating in the engine is not correct or not sufficient. Its lighting during driving indicates that the engine may be in a dangerous situation.
