Let's do it yourself for replacing the battery in the key/remote of the Peugeot 208, a common task for other models from the same manufacturer. To access the exhausted battery that needs to be replaced, model CR2032, the most commonly used one, you need to open the back part of the remote shell. For this, we use a small flathead screwdriver to leverage at a specific point, which is clearly visible in the video, located near the chrome part. By gently lifting it, it will detach, allowing us access to the battery in question.
