In this video, learn how to replace the battery of a Peugeot 3008 that still has this component located in the engine compartment: not all 3008s, especially the newer models, have it in this position. Open the bonnet: the battery is located in a housing protected by a plastic cover. There may be electronic components, such as fuses or ECU wiring, resting on top or in front. Be careful not to force the wiring; remove the bracket that holds the battery in place, then disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal, and remove the old battery. Clean the tray thoroughly from any corrosion residue and then position the new battery in place. Reconnect the cables, starting with the positive terminal, then the negative, refit the bracket, and all covers and wiring that may have been placed nearby, ensuring that the cables are not under tension.
