Replacing the Shock Absorber Spring on a Peugeot Boxer/Fiat Ducato

The vehicle in the video - a Peugeot Boxer, identical to a Fiat Ducato - had a broken coil spring, failing the MOT: the problem was at the front axle. Lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Remove the cover to access the upper bolts of the shock absorber (which are located under a black panel: unfortunately, half the dashboard must be removed to reach them). Remove the bracket to gain hand space and unscrew the three bolts securing the shock absorber. Extract the spring+shock absorber assembly and compress the new spring just enough to fit the upper mount, as the bottom of the shock absorber is already out and does not require much compression. Assemble the new shock absorber, new spring, and new upper mount. Position the reference pins, reassemble everything, and refit the bracket. Conduct a road test and then perform the final torque on the wheel nuts. This is not an easy task, but it is not impossible either.
