To activate the automatic adjustment of the rear view mirror in reverse on the Peugeot 508, first turn on the ignition so that you can access the menu displayed in the centre of the dashboard: press the CAR button, then select "Vehicle settings" and finally "Parking". Now you will find the option "Mirror adaption in reverse" which should be set from "OFF" to "ON" to activate it: this way, when reversing, the passenger's rear view mirror will automatically tilt to assist with the manoeuvre.
