How to Reset the Multimedia System in a Peugeot 2008

This video describes the procedure for resetting the Peugeot 2008. Turn on the ignition (engine on or off, as long as the system is powered). Locate the music button (icon with a musical note), located at the top left of the touch display, on the physical frame. Hold down that button for 10 seconds. The screen will go black (this is normal). After a few seconds, the Peugeot logo will reappear. The system will restart and become operational again. The forced restart does not erase your settings (radio stations, contacts, navigation), but only resets the software. If the system is completely frozen and does not respond to the music button, you can: turn off the ignition and wait 30 seconds. Turn on the ignition again. Hold down the music button for 15-20 seconds (instead of 10). Alternatively, if the system is completely frozen (fixed black screen): disconnect the battery (negative terminal) for 5-10 minutes. This forces a complete hardware restart.
