Instructions for Removing Driver's Airbag

Model: Peugeot 307 MK 1 - Years 2001-2009

Before proceeding with the removal of the airbag, it is advisable to disconnect the battery to avoid triggering any warning lights. At the horizontal spokes of the steering wheel, there are the airbag retaining springs: just behind the spokes, there are access holes to press and release the springs. Insert a medium-sized flat screwdriver into the appropriate holes and press towards the centre to disengage the springs from their anchorage points. Once the airbag is released, remove the locking clips from the detonator connectors and only then disconnect them.
