Before proceeding with the disassembly of the airbag, it is advisable to disconnect the battery to avoid the lighting of any warning lights. Corresponding to the horizontal spokes of the steering wheel there are the airbag fixing springs: just behind the spokes, there are access holes to be able to press and release the springs. Then insert a medium-sized fixed screwdriver in the appropriate holes and press towards the center in order to move the springs away from their anchoring points. Once the airbag has been released, remove the locking devices of the detonator connectors and only then release them.
