How to Remove the Air Conditioning Panel from a Peugeot 307

Model: Peugeot 307 MK 1 - Years 2001-2009

This guide shows how to remove the central dashboard panel of the Peugeot 307. First, detach the glove compartment using the metal tab and unscrew the two screws located in the housing. To remove the lower panel, detach the gear cover using the four clips at the corners. At this point, using plastic levers, force the upper corners of the grille (the underside of the radio housing) and pull it out. The upper grille comes off after unscrewing the two lower screws and the two upper screws (hidden by the two fake buttons near the hazard lights). With a T20 screwdriver, remove the four screws securing the climate panel; apply slight pressure to detach the block, tilting it upwards and disconnecting the large connector, then the smaller ones and the adjustment wire, to extract the air conditioning unit.
