If you have a forklift as shown in the video, it can be useful to use it to support the bonnet and facilitate the removal process; otherwise, get someone to help hold it once the supports are removed. The first step is to disconnect the support struts accessed through a cap on the wheel arch, inside the boot. At this point, remove the parcel shelf and unscrew the hinge mounting bolts: the bonnet is now free, and if possible, disconnect the wiring; otherwise, cut as shown in the video. Next, remove the push-fit clips that secure the inner trim; complete by removing the struts, wiring, and lock.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
