To replace the gear knob on a Peugeot 206, remove the old knob from the gear lever by simply pulling it off. Next, ensure that the black spacer inside the new gear knob is compatible with the lever. Once verified, insert it into the new knob and position both pieces over the lever, pushing down to secure them.

To fix the new knob, use an Allen key to tighten the screws located at the base of the knob. Once secured, check its proper operation.
